UI/UX designer Danylo Laikun and Flutter developer Volodymyr Boklakh have released an application — Habit Tracker — Us+. The project is designed to make the formation of daily useful habits an interesting and interactive process thanks to elements of gamification and shared motivation. The main concept of the application is to combine a classic habit tracker with the mechanics of mutual responsibility.

According to the developers, the idea to create their own tracking platform arose a year ago. The main concept of Us+ is to combine a classic habit tracker with the mechanics of shared responsibility. The basic logic of the application resembles the "lights" in TikTok, but is focused on joint daily activities, sports, education, or mental health support.

Despite the high competition in the digital products market, the authors emphasize that there are still few high-quality solutions on Google Play specifically for jointly tracking actions with a partner or friend.

The application offers flexible functionality for both individual use and pair interaction.

  • Shared habits and motivation: users can combine their routines with a partner and support each other with interactive reminders — “send nudges” in the form of funny GIF animations.

  • Smart widgets and notifications: You can log your daily progress directly from your smartphone's home screen using an interactive widget.

  • Data privacy: All private habits are stored exclusively locally on the user's device. Only routines that the user consciously chooses for shared tracking are synchronized.

The technical stack and design system of the project were fully implemented by the founders themselves. Danylo Laikun was responsible for product UI/UX design, mascot and animation development on the Rive platform. Volodymyr Boklakh provided a full development cycle on Flutter, building real-time cloud synchronization using Supabase and integrating additional analytical and service tools (RevenueCat, Microsoft Clarity, Resend, KLIPY).

Habit Tracker — Us+ is currently available for download on Google Play as a free model. The project has already been officially presented on the Product Hunt platform, where the team is actively collecting initial feedback from users to further improve the product.
