A separate application will be created based on "Diya" to inform about air threats — Koretsky
Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky announced that in Ukraine, based on the state service «Diya», a separate application will be created that will inform citizens about air alerts, as well as the movement of drones and missiles.
Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky announced that in Ukraine, based on the state service «Diya», a separate application will be created that will inform citizens about air alerts, as well as the movement of drones and missiles.
«A state application will be created on the basis of „Diya“ about air alerts, about danger, about the movement of „Shaheeds“, drones, missiles, so that there will be a single information field about current threats and generally information from the primary source, from the government,» Koretsky said .
According to him, the government has adopted comprehensive changes that are intended to adapt the work of the state, economy, and infrastructure to the new tactics of Russian terror. Chief among them is the division of air alert signals into two levels depending on the degree of threat.
Yellow and red alert levels
A yellow level will signal the threat of hostile drones. In this case, the siren will sound for 30 seconds, and businesses are allowed to continue operating — provided that safety rules are followed and there is access to shelter for employees and visitors. Businesses that do not yet have protective structures are being given a three-month transition period to install them. All establishments must also be marked — so that people can immediately understand whether there is a shelter or a safe space there or not.
The red level will be declared in the event of a missile or combined strike. The signal in this case will last for one minute, and all businesses and institutions, without exception, must immediately cease operations, and people must go to the nearest shelter.
For kindergartens and general education institutions, the rules remain unchanged: regardless of the level of threat, all children and teachers are required to immediately take shelter.
The government is also canceling the repeated siren to warn of air danger.
Mobile shelters and business support
Separately, the government has obligated local authorities and entrepreneurs to accelerate the installation of mobile shelters, and plans to participate in co-financing this process.
«Our goal is to help Ukraine survive economically: businesses must work, taxes must be collected, and salaries must be paid,» Koretsky emphasized.
