In 2025, the Ukrainian defense tech sector is expected to attract $100 million in investments to develop innovations in the defense sector.
This was stated by Brave1 CEO Natalia Kushnerska during the Defense Tech Innovations Forum-2025.
«If we talk about investments, last year it was $40 million. This may not be such a large amount, but compared to 2023, when it was $8 million, it is a fairly large increase. And this year we plan for it to be $100 million,» Kushnerskaya explained in a comment to Militarny.
She added that the average checks of defense tech companies are also constantly increasing.
«Investments started at $20,000, $30,000, $35,000. Now it’s already several million dollars. Sometimes it exceeds $10 million. And this, again, is the stability of our Ukrainian defense tech,» says the head of Brave1.
We will remind you that during the forum, 29 Ukrainian teams presented their developments to investors at a pitching session.
