«Over the past year, the army has become significantly digitalized. But we need to move even faster and look for new opportunities. That is why we created the „Digital Army“, which will help to effectively interact with the private sector in Ukraine and abroad, government agencies around the world, and will also give our products access to the international market,» said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.
What will the «Digital Army» do:
According to Digital Army Director Iryna Kvaskova, the state-owned enterprise should become a platform that will unite digital products in the defense sector. This applies not only to applications such as Reserve+ and Army+, but also to «combat systems and defense innovations.»
«The Digital Army State Enterprise will become a bridge between the state and the private sector. This will help significantly accelerate the implementation of innovations that can significantly increase the efficiency of combat units. We plan to attract the best civilian and military specialists to our team,» said Kvaskova.
She noted the great interest from international partners in combat experience and Ukrainian digital products in the defense sector. According to Iryna Kvaskova, this means high potential for Ukraine in general and the Digital Army SE in particular, in the international defense technology market.
