Cyclops was developed by a Ukrainian company specializing in creating weapons for modern high-intensity warfare. According to the Ministry of Defense, various modifications of the complex have been used on the front for several years.
The drone has a wingspan of just over one meter and can stay in the air for almost an hour and a half. It is capable of climbing above the maximum flight altitude of Russian strike and reconnaissance UAVs, and its range is sufficient to cover any regional center of Ukraine from drone attacks.
The Ministry of Defense notes that the complex has several modifications. Some are designed to engage ground targets or slow-moving air objects at low altitudes, while others are designed to combat high-speed targets, including Shahed-type strike drones.
According to the department, the Cyclops V2 modification has already destroyed more than 100 air targets, including Russian UAVs Gerbera, Zala, Orlan, Supercam, Lancet, and Molniya. It was Cyclops that first shot down a Shahed drone over the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
