Ukrainian studio Terricon Games has unveiled a new gameplay teaser for Warfactory, a strategy game that combines planetary-scale automation with real-time battles.
In Warfactory, players control an ancient Mind tasked with restoring order to a galaxy in chaos. Unlike classic RTSs, there are no queues for unit creation, as each droid is literally assembled in a factory from individual components. If production stops or slows down, reinforcements simply don’t reach the battlefield.
The new teaser shows that production and combat exist as two fully-fledged layers of gameplay that constantly influence each other. Players will need to control thousands of units in classic RTS battles while ensuring that factories continuously supply reinforcements.
Each planet will present new challenges, from resource shortages to enemy raids and challenging terrain. The developers promise a story-driven campaign and a procedural roguelite mode.
Warfactory enters closed alpha this week. Players can request access via Steam. The game is scheduled for a PC release in 2026.
