In 2024, CleanMyMac's Moonlock Engine detected and neutralized 79 million malicious files for users around the world.
3.8 million malware threats were also eliminated, increasing the security of users' devices.
6.5 million duplicates and similar files were removed to optimize storage.
9.7 million program updates, providing access to the most secure and energy-efficient versions of software.
In addition, 37.8 million unnecessary programs were removed to improve energy efficiency.
63.8 billion GB of unwanted files were removed, extending the life of devices.
The company also notes in the report that it has used machine learning to predict and prevent cybersecurity threats, and has also explored AI solutions to optimize energy use and reduce its digital carbon footprint.
