Tax revenue
This was announced by the chairman of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev.
In January-March 2025, the Internet services industry brought UAH 1.187 billion in taxes to the budget, of which UAH 1.113 billion was paid by legal entities and UAH 73.2 million by individual entrepreneurs.
For comparison, for the same period in 2024, this industry paid UAH 800 million in taxes.
"Significant growth is observed among legal entities, while individual entrepreneurs have shown a decline - this may indicate the transition of the industry from the model of "bushes of individual entrepreneurs" to legal entities," says Getmantsev.
As can be seen from the graph, revenues from individual entrepreneurs decreased from UAH 83.2 million in 2024 to UAH 73.2 million in 2024.
Recall that in 2024, the State Tax Service banned Internet providers from working on a simplified taxation system. At that time, Hetmantsev stated that Ukraine has large tax shortfalls due to the "gray" Internet business. The Internet Association of Ukraine (InAU) appealed to the president, and then a petition appeared , but in the end the simplified system was canceled.
Hetmantsev also published a graph on the dynamics of average wages in the Internet services industry.
"Most companies significantly increased salaries in the 4th quarter of 2024 and the 1st quarter of 2025. Only about 10 companies continue to pay at the level of approximately UAH 10,000 (with average salaries in the country exceeding UAH 24,000)," the People's Deputy noted.
