The investigation found that the man found sellers of used Apple equipment through online ads, met with them in Kyiv, and paid for the goods with counterfeit hundred-dollar bills, the Bureau of Economic Security reports .
During the investigation, BEB detectives seized these counterfeit banknotes, which were of very high quality.
The victims were provided with compensation for material damage in the amount of over 370,000 UAH.
