According to the NBU, in November, the volume of IT exports from Ukraine amounted to $520 million, reports DOU.
For comparison: in October, Ukrainian IT companies exported services worth $532 million, in November 2023 — $564 million.
Recall that the Lviv IT Cluster worsened the forecast for a decline in IT services exports in 2024, which was previously estimated in the range of 3% to 5% compared to last year. That is, we can expect approximately $6.3-6.45 billion.
«September and October showed a slight increase in exports of IT services. Therefore, we are inclined to believe that a more positive scenario will still come true (a decrease in volumes by at least 4% compared to 2023). In 2025, the export figure will depend on many circumstances. Most of all, on whether the full-scale war ends. If it continues, the problems that the industry faced in previous years will only intensify. Therefore, exports will probably also decrease,» commented Yaryna Voznyak, head of the research department of the Lviv IT Cluster, for DOU.
