The monobank application is currently experiencing difficulties with card transfers and cash withdrawals at Universal Bank cash desks.
Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorohovsky confirmed the failure and noted that the team is already working to fix the problem.
«We have a technical glitch. We’re fixing it. Sorry,» Gorohovsky wrote on Telegram.
PrivatBank clients are also reporting problems with the application. However, the bank itself, unlike Monobank, has not reported any malfunctions.
According to Downdetector, Ukraine is also experiencing outages on Twitch, Slack, Facebook, and other services.
Gorokhovsky claims that this happened due to a failure on the side of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or one of its partners.
Within an hour, the co-founder of monobank stated that the system’s operation had been fully restored.
In addition, massive outages are being reported worldwide. Specifically, Anthropic’s Claude experienced global performance issues. According to Downdetector, the influx of complaints peaked at 3:30 pm, with over 300 users reporting problems. Most of the issues (60%) were detected in Claude Chat, while the rest affected the app and the website.
