From now on, over 13.5 million PrivatBank users can connect to Kyivstar and lifecell in a few minutes by issuing a digital SIM card directly in the application.
PrivatBank announced the launch of a service for selling eSIMs of mobile operators Kyivstar and lifecell.
To purchase a digital SIM card, you only need to take a few steps:
- Go to the eSIM service;
- Choose an operator and tariff;
- Pay by card and receive a QR code by email to activate eSIM on your smartphone.
eSIM (embedded SIM) is a virtual SIM card that performs the same functions as a physical one, but is built directly into the device and activated software-wise - without the need to insert the card into a slot. It does not require a separate physical slot in the smartphone, which allows you to use up to five eSIMs simultaneously, combine a physical SIM with a digital one, and also provides an additional level of security: if the phone is lost, the SIM card cannot be removed or replaced.
Previously, PrivatBank was embroiled in a minor scandal after the former head of Lifecell was unable to verify his documents for over a month. The conflict was quickly resolved when the story became public.
