Military conscripts have the right to use mobile phones in the premises of territorial recruitment centers (TCC), but only in specially designated places, said Larisa Kozak, deputy head of the Kyiv district TCC and SP.
According to her, the premises of the TCC are restricted facilities with limited access, so each TCC should have specially designated rooms for communicating using mobile phones.
She noted that TCC employees do not have the right to take away people’s mobile phones. But a legitimate requirement for a TCC employee would be to «determine a place for communication for a conscript in the premises.»
«The TCC does not have the right to take away cellular communication devices. Yes, they can limit communication only in designated places,» Kozak concluded.
