Ukrainian online car-hailing service Uklon has sent an official request to the Kyiv City State Administration ( KCSA) regarding the operation of services during curfew hours. The company already has a successful launch experience in Lviv.
This was reported to dev.ua by Uklon.
In addition to the request to the Kyiv City State Administration, the company is preparing a request to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMMA).
"Uklon understands the importance of the capital as the main economic, transport and diplomatic hub of Ukraine. The ability to call a car during curfew may be a logistical necessity for Kyiv residents and guests. We are ready to work in detail with local authorities and look for the best solutions to this issue. It is the local authorities that should be the driver of launching services during curfew," said Mykola Soroka, Corporate Relations GR Lead of the company.
Today we also reported that the Estonian online car-hailing service Bolt plans to launch taxis in Kyiv during curfew hours.
Both companies began providing services during curfew in the Lviv region as part of a pilot project that was launched with the support of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Lviv City Council, and the Lviv IT Cluster.
"Uklon has a successful experience of launching and operating during curfew in Lviv. We were able to demonstrate that launching logistics during curfew can be comfortable, convenient, and controlled. This is an important experience that we can now use in other regions," Soroka added.
Recall that in March 2024, Uklon stopped working during curfew hours after the company received an appeal from the Kyiv Patrol Police demanding that it not provide services during this time.

"We are not changing any top managers. Kyivstar will try to use the young energy of Uklon." The President of Kyivstar said when the deal to purchase Uklon will be closed
