Ukraine will present its startup ecosystem for the first time at The Next Web Conference, a major European tech event. UFS has opened the selection of participants, how to apply?

The Next Web Conference — one of the most influential technology events in Europe — will take place on June 19-20 in Amsterdam. This year, Ukraine will present its own stand of technology startups and scaleups for the first time. The Ukrainian Startup Fund (UFS) has announced the selection of participants who will be able to present themselves on the international stage, establish partnerships with European players, and open new markets.

Ukraine will present its startup ecosystem for the first time at The Next Web Conference, a major European tech event. UFS has opened the selection of participants, how to apply?

The Next Web Conference — one of the most influential technology events in Europe — will take place on June 19-20 in Amsterdam. This year, Ukraine will present its own stand of technology startups and scaleups for the first time. The Ukrainian Startup Fund (UFS) has announced the selection of participants who will be able to present themselves on the international stage, establish partnerships with European players, and open new markets.

The Ukrainian Startup Fund is looking for 8 startups and scaleups that meet the criteria below.

Scallops:

Financing: available external financing at the Series A to Series C stage (i.e. after the first significant venture round);
Year of foundation: 2014–2021;
Team: up to 200 employees;
Product: creation of an innovative software or hardware product;
Ukrainian positioning : the company positions itself as a Ukrainian scaleup.

Startups:

Financing: self-financing or first external round (pre-seed/seed), up to and including Series A, with a total amount of financing raised of no more than EUR 1 million;
Year of establishment: 2018–2024;
Team: up to 100 employees;
Product: creation of an innovative software or hardware product;
Ukrainian positioning: the company positions itself as a Ukrainian startup.

How will the selection take place?

First, you need to fill out applications by April 30, 23:59. For additional information, you can write to [email protected] Language of the application and presentation: English. The application can be found in your personal account on the Ukrainian Startup Fund portal in the "Partner Programs" section.
Then, a check will be made to ensure compliance with the competition conditions.
Online Pitch Day: presentation before a jury of Ukrainian and international experts.
Final selection and invitation to the Ukrainian delegation to The Next Web Conference.

What will selected participants receive?

Tickets for the team to The Next Web 2025;
Individual stand within the conference (during 1 day of the conference);
Access to an international networking platform to find partners and clients;
Participation in meetings and side activities of the Ukrainian delegation.
