President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking to journalists, announced the achievement of historic agreements with the countries of the Middle East, the Grunt newspaper reports .
According to the president, this is not about the banal piecemeal sale of naval drones, but about the export of unique Ukrainian expertise, technologies, and entire systems.
According to the president, Ukraine has already shared with partners its successful practices in unblocking the Black Sea corridor using a fleet of naval drones.
The parties conclude strategic 10-year agreements on mutual assistance and cooperation in the field of military technologies and related industries.
Separately, Zelenskyy emphasized that Kyiv already has specific agreements with the Persian Gulf countries to assist the Ukrainian energy sector.
"I believe that these are historic agreements. We have agreed on strategic cooperation in the field of miltech and in other areas. We are talking about 10-year contracts. This is mutual assistance, of course," the head of state emphasized.
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian drone projects were developing outside the country without coordination with the state - this refers to about a dozen interceptor production facilities in different parts of the world.
