Ukrainian defense startup accelerator Defence Builder announced personnel changes: Kateryna Bezsudna is leaving the position of CEO, but remains a co-founder and will continue to support the initiative.
Ukrainian defense technology accelerator Defence Builder, founded in 2023 by Sigma Software Labs, Kyiv School of Economics, and Buntar Aerospace, has announced a change of CEO. Instead of Kateryna Bessudna, who had held this position since its founding, Line Rindvig from Denmark has become the head.
«Now is the right time for the project to make room for new energy and leadership to continue our mission. I am confident that the team, together with the new CEO, will achieve even greater results,» said Kateryna Bezsudna, commenting on the personnel changes.
Line Rindvig has over 20 years of experience in the music industry and has been volunteering in Ukraine since 2022. She has handled logistics and supplies, coordinated military and civilian assistance, built partnerships, and promoted projects to raise global awareness of Ukraine’s defense.
With a new CEO, Defence Builder will focus on expanding its operations in NATO member states, attracting international partners and investors, and collaborating with leading universities. At the same time, the accelerator will continue working with Ukrainian startups and is preparing to launch its third batch.
Earlier, Kateryna Bezsudna told dev.ua in an interview how the accelerator and the process of merging defense solutions are organized, who finances the organization’s activities, and how the project team provides participants with access to investors.
The Defence Builder accelerator has been launched in Ukraine, which will help defence-tech startups transition from «garage» production to sustainable companies
