The Twigames team announced the successful funding of the isometric role-playing game Hollow Home on the Kickstarter platform. The stated goal of $15,000 was reached 11 days before the official end of the crowdfunding campaign.

The developers announced the closure of the basic collection on the official project page, thanking the community for their financial and informational support.

"Our Kickstarter has reached its goal! We are incredibly excited and proud to announce additional goals. We still have 11 days left, so please continue to spread the word and support the project if you have the opportunity," the game's creators noted.

Hollow Home is a story-driven RPG centered around the story of a teenager named Maksym. The young man tries to survive in a city in southern Ukraine that has been under a severe siege by enemy troops. The main reference point for the writers was the tragic events of 2022 in Mariupol. The project is unique in that it does not directly depict combat or bloody violence: instead, the developers focused on the civilian experience, difficult moral choices, and the everyday consequences of war for ordinary people.

To attract funding, the team prepared a number of unique digital and physical rewards. For example, backers who donated $300 received the right to name a stray cat with which the main character could interact, or to work with the studio's artists to develop their own graffiti for the streets of the game city.

For the most generous sponsors with a contribution of $500 or more, an exclusive gift was provided — one of 19 physical Azovstal bracelets, forged from a limited batch of the last pre-war steel as part of the United24 initiative.

As a reminder, Ukrainian indie studio Twigames has been working on the project for several years. The game is inspired by real stories of Ukrainians who found themselves under siege at the beginning of a full-scale conflict. Valeriy Minenko told more about the mechanics, concept, and Hollow Home in an interview for dev.ua.
