Ukrainian company Harmix has raised $1 million from investors from Canada to finance the Proactive AI Manager (Pam) platform.

As Vector reports, the main goal of this platform is to solve the problem of «operational blindness» in small and medium-sized businesses.

The investment negotiations lasted for three months, and the funds were raised in a bridge round. The funds raised will be used to expand the engineering team to scale in the North American and European markets.

According to the publication, by the end of summer 2026, Harmix plans to obtain SOC 2 security certification and develop options for deploying Pam in customers' private clouds (self-hosted) for full control over data. Thus, the funding will ensure the development of the AI platform for more than 15 months.

Pam, in turn, integrates with over 40 popular services, including Slack, Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitHub, and for large corporate clients, offers connections to internal databases.

«The system independently monitors the company’s disparate data to identify bottlenecks, track decisions, and coordinate teams. Pam uses a 'long-term memory layer' that stores and updates relevant information about business processes, compressing outdated data to avoid overload,» the publication writes.

Recall that initially Harmix specialized in AI developments in the media industry.

So, in 2023 , dev.ua wrote that the Ukrainian startup Harmix, which selects music using AI, had hired a CTO and was looking for engineers to join the team.

In 2021, Harmix was called the «new Reface.» We wrote about how this service was created by KPI student Nazar Ponochevny. Harmix helped automatically select music for videos and save time for content producers.
