The Ukrainian deep-tech company Mosqitter begins selling its chemical-free hardware systems against mosquitoes on the domestic market: in particular, Ukrainians will be able to purchase the Mosqitter Mini product on marketplaces.
According to the company’s press service, the compact Mini version is capable of protecting users on a balcony, terrace, or yard up to 0.4 hectares.
The retail price of Mosqitter Mini in Ukraine will be 7999 UAH, and the replaceable ecological nets (set of 3 pieces) will cost 1499 UAH.
The price of the branded attractant Mosqilure, designed for two months of operation, in turn, is 1450 UAH.
«Unlike chemical repellents, which are temporary and require ongoing costs, Mosqitter Mini pays for itself in just 1–2 seasons. The product will be available from Mosqitter partners and later on key Ukrainian marketplaces and online platforms,» the company promised.
Inside the Mosqitter is hardware with its own software that controls the strength and frequency of the signals. The older Mosqitter model, the Grand, is made of stainless steel for continuous outdoor use in areas up to 0.8 hectares, and its modes are adjustable from the app. According to the company, after a month of operation, the device reduces the number of bites by 93%.
In addition, the company is developing a Febris monitoring system that uses artificial intelligence to recognize mosquito species and transmits data online about their dynamics and relationship to weather conditions. In Ukraine, such stations are planned to be installed in different regions and display information on online maps.
