Recall that at the end of January, PlayCity completed an open competition to transfer the lottery market to licensing and digital supervision. According to its results, the winners were MSL, Patriot, and Ukrainian National Lottery.
The UAH 24.2 million paid by UNL is a license fee for the year, PlayCity explained .
«The restoration of license fees is one of the first results of the reform of the lottery market, which has been operating for decades without full control under transitional provisions,» the state agency for regulating gambling and lotteries said.
The new conditions include electronic business reporting, QR codes on tickets and equipment. This will improve the transparency of lottery operators in Ukraine, the state agency added.
