«Our study shows a clear gap between the professional preferences of teenagers and the real demands of the labor market. Young people mainly choose creative fields, while employers increasingly need technical specialists and workers with vocational qualifications,» commented Vyacheslav Fokin, CEO of JobAtlas, the developer of the Profitrol platform, on the results of the study.
According to him, this indicates a critical need for systematic career guidance and better awareness among young people about current opportunities in the labor market.
Fokin created Profitrol to help his 14-year-old daughter decide on a future profession. He told dev.ua how the platform’s AI agent works and what plans the startup has for developing the career market for young people and beyond.
