Today, June 3, 2026, Ukrainian drones attacked the Leningrad region a few hours before the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In particular, two ships located at the naval base in Kronstadt were hit by the Fire Point drones.
This was announced by Denis Shtilerman, co-founder of the defense tech company Fire Point.
«We really wanted to give our guests a tour of the cruiser Moskva, but unfortunately we couldn’t bring it, so we had to cancel two other ships at the event site,» Shtilerman wrote on X.
He did not name which ships were hit, but social media reported that one of them was likely a guided missile carrier, the corvette «Boykii,» which was undergoing scheduled repairs.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also reported a drone attack on the St. Petersburg oil terminal and enterprises in the Tambov region.
«From our state border of Ukraine to this facility of the Russian oil industry, which works for war, there are about 1,100 kilometers. Purely military goals at the Kronstadt base have also been achieved. Another goal is an enterprise in the Tambov region, which is involved in the production of Russian weapons. The distance from the front line is almost 600 kilometers,» Zelensky noted.
