The portfolio of the Ukrainian-American fund Oppenheimer Acceleration has been expanded with two startups, BabAI and RightSpot.AI, which develop technologies for drone protection and navigation. These are the fund's fifth and sixth deals.

“These investments reflect Oppenheimer Acceleration’s continued focus on scaling dual-purpose technologies that improve tactical effectiveness and sustainability in modern combat environments,” the fund commented, Scroll writes .

BabAI is creating an AI-based active defense system for reconnaissance drones against FPV attacks. By providing autonomous evasive maneuvers, the system increases the survivability of drones on the front lines. The technology has already been combat-tested and is already integrated with two leading drone manufacturers and one laser turret system.

RightSpot.AI is developing a navigation system for drones, missiles, and autonomous vehicles, providing reliable positioning in conditions where GPS and radar are not available, even through clouds and at night. The startup's flagship product, RBASE, is currently undergoing TRL7 testing, with demand already exceeding 1,000 units per month.

Oppenheimer Acceleration is a Ukrainian-American venture capital fund created by Network.VC. It is based in Silicon Valley and focuses on investing in early-stage startups developing solutions for defense and public safety.

The fund has already financed Ukrainian startups Bavovna.AI, Swarmer, and PanoptesAI , as well as American startups MARA and Sierra.

During the preparation stage, startups will receive $25,000, and during the acceleration program, another $100,000.
