Ukrainian-Czech FoodTech startup Choice received 1 million euros in investment, which will help it achieve its ambitious goal of becoming No. 1 on the Polish market
Choice, a startup developing digital solutions for restaurants, announced that it has raised 1 million euros in investment from the Polish fund Smartlink Partners. In addition to Ukraine, Choice already operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Kazakhstan and Germany. Three years ago, the startup also entered the Polish market, and despite strong local competition, it is successfully gaining its share of the market, and the new investment will help in this.

Investment from Smartlink Partners
The EUR 1 million financing received was provided in the form of a CLA (Convertible Loan Agreement) and will be part of a large Round A that Choice is currently actively pursuing.
Choice has an ambitious goal of gaining 20% of the Polish market in the coming years, and this will be facilitated by a €1 million investment from the Polish fund Smartlink Partners.
Choice in Poland
Currently, Choice has over 2,000 registered restaurants and 500+ paid users in Poland. The company's Polish team already has over 20 employees. The Choice product is fully localized for the local needs of Polish restaurants.

Many Ukrainian restaurateurs have opened establishments in Poland, and part of the operational activities in Poland are provided by the Ukrainian Choice team together with the Polish team on site. We see a lot of synergy and potential between our markets and plan to develop them into a powerful business,” said Pavel Szydlovsky, Managing Partner of Smartlink Partners.
The startup aims to become a leader in the Central and Eastern European region
Choice plans to become No. 1 not only in Poland but also throughout Europe in the near future.
Currently, preparations are underway to enter the Romanian, Hungarian, and Georgian markets. The company's goal is to become the leader in the region in 2 years, and then expand into Western Europe.
