Oleksii Holovanov, SEO manager at Danish company 3D Print Aarhus, has launched a tool for parsing Google search results. This script, which he developed himself, allows you to collect data for specific search queries and export it directly to Excel.
Oleksii is not a professional software developer, but he writes programs that help him with SEO promotion.
The new tool, whose functionality and design were created using ChatGPT, will help improve SEO strategies, conduct market analysis, or analyze competitors.
«It is designed to be simple, fast, and extremely effective,» Oleksii noted in a post on LinkedIn.
The script and executables for Windows and macOS can be downloaded from the GitHub repository.
«For macOS and Windows users: I have prepared executable files specifically for macOS and Windows users to make it easier to use the tool. These files can be downloaded directly from GitHub,» the SEO specialist added.
How to use the tool:
Run the script.
Enter your User Agent, which can be found on the website .
Select the language in which the search will be performed.
Select a country to search.
Enter the query you want to analyze.
Click «Save Settings and Start Search» to activate the search process.
Name and save the Excel file that contains the results.
Also, at the request of users, Oleksii updated his script and added the ability to simultaneously collect data from multiple requests and use a proxy if necessary.
