Ukrainian cybersecurity startup StackBob.ai has appointed Nick Hunt, an expert with 25 years of experience in digital identity and access management, as its new CEO.

As the startup’s press service told dev.ua, as part of these management changes, company co-founder Ole Shved will instead take on the position of Chief Product Officer.

It is known that Nick Hunt previously held senior positions at several international technology companies, including Oracle, where he was involved in implementing and scaling cybersecurity systems for large corporations and government agencies.

«What excites me most about StackBob.ai is that the product solves a problem that cybersecurity leaders have faced for years: expensive and difficult-to-implement access control systems offer limited integrations and require a lot of effort to install and maintain custom connectors,» shared Nick Hunt.

According to Hunt, StackBob.ai can connect any application quickly and keep user access to each of them up to date, which reduces the time to integrate with each product from weeks or months to a few days and eliminates much of the manual work that security teams have traditionally relied on.

«We created StackBob to solve the biggest problem in Identity Security today — namely, the lack of access control to 70% of applications used in business, government, and non-governmental organizations,» recalled co-founder and CPO Ole Shved.

He added that the startup’s NCAP technology allows organizations to manage access to 100% of the applications they use.

The Swede welcomed Nick Hunt to the team, noting that he will lead the next stage of scaling StackBob.ai.

As CEO, Nick Hunt will primarily focus on expanding StackBob.ai’s adoption among large companies, developing the partner ecosystem, and attracting the next round of investment, scheduled for spring 2026.

Recall that StackBob.ai is a cybersecurity product that allows companies to manage employee access to all computer programs and cloud services used in work. StackBob.ai was founded in 2022 by Yaroslav Rozum and Ole Shved.

Previously, dev.ua wrote in detail about how the startup StackBob collected the access and passwords of all employees from 300,000 services in one place and what problems this can solve for businesses.
