Ukrainian developer Skyeton has announced a strategic partnership with radio frequency research company Quadsat. The companies have joined forces to develop electromagnetic surveillance systems.
The partnership involves combining the Raybird UAV platform with industry-proven radio frequency (RF) payload and spectrum monitoring technology from Quadsat.
Raybird is characterized by extreme durability and reliability, making it the logical choice for intelligence gathering on the battlefield. Quadsat test and measurement solutions are used by the world's leading satellite companies to ensure high levels of equipment performance.
Together, the companies deliver a highly efficient, scalable, and tactically flexible platform for real-time electromagnetic spectrum intelligence. This extends the mission capabilities of the Raybird drone by integrating advanced spectrum monitoring and RF source detection capabilities in challenging operational environments.
“By combining our powerful RF payload with Skyeton’s combat-proven UAV, we create an effective solution for monitoring the electromagnetic spectrum. The fact that Raybird has an exceptional flight duration of over 28 hours while being simple and fast to deploy makes it particularly suitable for defense applications. Quadsat technology is compatible with various platforms, and our integration with fixed-wing drones is a prime example of this,” said Klaus Aude, Chief Commercial Officer Quadsat.
Pavlo Shevchuk, International CEO Skyeton, added: “This partnership is an important step towards expanding the capabilities of our UAV. The integration of Quadsat’s advanced RF technology provides the platform with an effective spectrum monitoring tool, which is essential for today’s operational environment. It is a natural evolution of our goal to provide resilient, mission-ready systems that provide operational intelligence where and when it is needed.”
Quadsat and Skyeton will participate in a joint demonstration flight at the International Drone Show 2025 in Denmark on June 18-19. As part of the event, Quadsat’s Raybird UAV with RF payload will demonstrate real-time spectrum monitoring and RF target detection capabilities.
