Ukrainians have created a free HealUA app, where our doctors can receive advice from colleagues from all over the world. The development has already received recognition at Web Summit 2024

HealUA was developed by the Global Medical Knowledge Alliance (GMKA) in cooperation with the startup studio Empat.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian doctors faced a new reality of providing medical care. At the same time, not all doctors have access to the latest medical protocols. This prompted the GMKA and Empat team to create a humanitarian project — a free application where doctors can remotely exchange advice and knowledge.

Thus, thanks to the support of the international medical community, Ukrainian doctors learn about the most modern treatment protocols, receive consultations from the best doctors-colleagues around the world, and adapt foreign practices to their realities. Therefore, patients receive the best medical care, wherever they are.

Doctors of all specialties can join HealUA

It is a pocket reference for general practitioners, family physicians, pediatricians, dermatologists, surgeons, oncologists, and other physicians working in both routine and limited settings.

How the app works

A physician creates a query by describing a medical case. Other doctors respond to the request and offer their help. Communication in HealUA is possible in the format of video communication and text messages, in English or Ukrainian.

The HealUA application is free and works on both IOS and Android. You can download the required version from the link .
