According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a corresponding resolution.
«Soon, combatants and persons with disabilities as a result of the war will be able to receive UAH 1,500 from the state every quarter to pay for sports club services. It will be possible to apply for money through the „Diіa“ application. They will be automatically deposited into the veteran’s special account every quarter throughout the year,» the Ministry of Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs said in a statement.
According to the Minister of Veterans Affairs Natalia Kalmykova, sport is one of the most effective means of rehabilitation and restoration of psychological health, as well as integration into social life, so quarterly assistance for paying for the services of gyms, swimming pools, and other institutions will be available starting in January.
The ministry promises to announce the detailed mechanism for participation in the project later.
Recall that in December, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the government had adopted a resolution to launch the «eBook» program in the «Diya» application. According to it, all Ukrainians who will turn 18 in 2024 will be able to receive 908 hryvnias to purchase books in the Ukrainian language.
Before that, Fedorov named the areas under the Winter eSupport program where this financial assistance is spent the most.
