The government did not take into account the amendment to the draft state budget regarding the extension of the benefit for electric cars till 2027, despite the support of the proposal in the Verkhovna Rada.
This was reported by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
«For those who expected the extension of the benefit for electric cars for another year, don’t expect it. Despite the amendment being taken into account in the Rada, it was rejected by the Government. The chance of changing this is minimal — that is, I am convinced that there will be no benefit,» the People’s Deputy noted.
Recall that in October, MPs supported an amendment to extend the exemption for the import of electric cars for another year. But even then, Zheleznyak and the head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance Committee, Danyla Hetmantseva, denied that this amendment would appear in the final version of the budget.
Yaroslav Zheleznyak published a part of the draft state budget, which states that the amendment was not taken into account.
The Ministry of Finance believes that extending the benefit means a loss for the budget, as well as failure to fulfill the requirements of the Memorandum between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund.
