USF invites startups to nominate for the annual IDF Awards: how to apply for the award

Applications for the IDF Awards 2025 are now open — the main award of the year for the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem from the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF).
IDF Awards is an annual initiative of the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which brings together startups, founders, investors, and other stakeholders to recognize those who have made the greatest contribution to the development of the innovation ecosystem in Ukraine over the course of the year.
Startups will be recognized in the following categories:
Startup of the Year — the startup that has achieved the greatest progress / scaling / impact on the innovation ecosystem of Ukraine during 2025;
Best University-Based Startup — a team/project that originated in a scientific or university environment and demonstrated the potential for technology commercialization;
Incubator | Accelerator of the Year — the program/institution that has made the greatest contribution to the development of startups through mentorship, acceleration, and access to investment;
Investor of the Year — an investor/fund that actively supports Ukrainian innovative companies and promotes their growth in global markets;
Hero of the Ecosystem — a leader / mentor / initiator who has made a significant contribution to the development of the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem;
Best Startup — People's choice — the startup that has received the most public support: the award is presented based on the results of an open community vote;
Ecosystem Organization — Startups' Choice — an organization (association, cluster, or community) that startups themselves choose as their key partner of the year: the winner is determined by the results of an open vote of startups.
