Ukrainians on LinkedIn are receiving emails from a person who is supposedly in a difficult situation due to job loss. The situation is so dire that she has "literally nothing to eat."
One of these emails was reported by Lead Generation Manager Natalia Lucsiv, who suggested that it was a new type of scam.
The letter states that the author has found himself in a difficult situation due to a prolonged inability to find work and the exhaustion of all his savings. The person declares his despair and claims that he literally has nothing to eat, so he is begging for financial help.
In return, the author promises to return all the money as soon as he finds a job and asks to send him his bank card details.
At the end of the message, the card number and a link to the bank in monobank for financial assistance are also provided.

In the comments, another user noted that she also received such a letter today.
“I also received such a message today. Maybe even from the same person,” wrote Halyna Nechyporenko, Team Lead at a recruiting company.
