Registration for the second year of the sign language course «Graphic Designer» has begun at the online school of popular culture SKVOT. One of the training formats involves working on a real case for Uklon.
This was reported by Iryna Vikaryuk, Head of Content Production at SKVOT. She said that the first online course «Photo Retouching» in sign language was launched back in 2022.
«We thought we would gather 20, maybe 30 people at most. We gathered more than 400. We were shocked, scared, incredibly happy and proud,» noted Vikaryuk.
Now SKVOT is opening a second course in sign language, «Graphic Designer.» Students will be able to master the profession of a graphic designer from scratch. To do this, they will learn to work with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, understand the basics of composition, color, and typography, and practice on real graphic designer tasks. In addition, some topics in the course will be devoted to how to find your first clients.
The course will be taught by designers Yulia Zamyatina and Volodymyr Klymyk. All lessons will be duplicated by the head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Sign Language Interpreters, Natalia Kravtsova.
Training will be held in two formats: with and without homework and feedback.

To participate in this format, you need to leave a motivational video questionnaire, and SKVOT will select 30 students who are ready for active practice. For the format without feedback, you just need to register — the number of places is unlimited.
Registration for the sign language course «Graphic Designer» is open until March 13. The training will take place from March 17 to July 7.
