The Pechersk District Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support (TCK and SP) is illegally detaining and attempting to mobilize the production manager of the Oko Camera company, which produces thermal imagers for drones.
This is reported by "Ekonomichna Pravda" with reference to the company's comment.
According to the startup's representatives, the Oko Camera employee came to the Pechersk CCC to update his data and register for military registration for further booking procedures. However, during registration, CCC employees decided to mobilize him.
"Our colleague is currently in the distribution center at the DVRZ. He did not sign anything, there was no mobilization letter or order. He is actually being held illegally," the company says.
It is reported that Oko Camera has the status of a critically important enterprise for the economy and ensuring the livelihoods of the population, as it produces thermal imaging cameras for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The company adds that this is the second such incident in the last two weeks. "Every employee is very critical to us, this one in particular is a key position without which the orders expected from us for 2025 will not be fulfilled," Oko Camera emphasizes.
In addition, in January of this year, the company's head sent an official letter to the Pechersk CCC regarding the need to update their employee's data with further booking.
Recall that the Defense-tech company Oko Camera, which develops thermal imaging modules for robotic systems, founded by a team of enthusiasts in 2022, became the winner among defense developments at IT Arena-2024. The company began operations in 2022. It took the startup a year from the idea to the first testing with customers.

Oko Camera thermal imaging modules have become extremely useful for night operations and beyond. They allow you to identify targets in low visibility or difficult weather conditions.
Earlier this month, MP Oleksandr Fedienko said that the CCC could mobilize reserved workers. He published a response regarding the mobilization of a reserved worker from one of the regions of Ukraine.
