Users are reporting disruptions in payment services — terminals are not working, and it is impossible to pay for subway fares and card payments at retail outlets.

In particular, this concerns the inability to pay via Apple/Google Pay. There are also problems with card replenishment and cashless payment in taxis.

Also, on the morning of April 26, contactless fare payment at metro turnstiles in Kyiv was temporarily unavailable due to a technical failure at Oschadbank, the Kyiv City State Administration press center reported.

Problems are also being recorded at Raiffeisenbank — they promise to resume services by 10:00.

«It doesn’t seem to have affected us. We are keeping our fingers crossed for our colleagues and are ready to provide any technical and methodological assistance,» said monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovsky.

In addition, the crash is recorded in the «Diia» application.

«The failure in „Diia“ occurred due to technical updates at one of the large data centers. Now the application team is quickly restoring the services. Very soon your documents and services will be at hand again. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,» the company’s press service noted.

More complex issues also arose in the work of the Nova Poshta application — the application cannot update information, reporting the absence of an Internet connection. According to the company, the problems are on the contractor’s side, but this is not a hacker attack.

«We expect all services to be restored approximately by 10:00 a.m. We will provide additional updates,» the company added.

This is not the first time that Ukraine has experienced outages. For example, Nova Poshta experienced an outage on February 20. Neither the website nor the app worked.

On March 23, Ukrzaliznytsia reported a failure in the company’s IT system.
