The Ministry of Community Development must approve a list of issues for transport inspections.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new mechanism for on-site inspections of trucks and buses, which will operate through the eInspector system, the Ministry of Community Development reports .
Inspectors of Ukrtransbezpeka will receive tablets with inspection checklists. All questions and answers will be recorded in the electronic system. If violations are detected, the system will automatically signal them, after which the inspector will draw up a corresponding report.
The Ministry of Development will soon approve the final list of questions for the transport inspection.
The digital format is expected to minimize corruption, make the process more transparent, and speed up inspections. Carriers and drivers will be able to verify the fairness of the inspection, and inspectors will not be able to manipulate the data.
It is noted that the resolution will enter into force three months after its official publication, in May 2025.
