According to Defense Express, this electric vehicle is manufactured by the company «Ukrspetsconsulting».
«By combining the expertise of experts from different fields, we developed our own concept of an electric motorcycle from scratch. WolfStorm became its embodiment. Now we manufacture these electric motorcycles ourselves, using our production facilities. The design features are determined by military requirements. Those that cannot be satisfied by solutions from the civilian market,» a company representative explained in a comment to the publication.
He added that they assemble the batteries for electric motorcycles themselves, and the battery is quick-detachable. «This is a rather unusual solution, because it increases the cost of the design. But for the military, it is critically important. You can complete the task, return, install a new charged battery in 30 seconds and go on. You don’t need to put the whole bike on charge,» the company representative added.
It is also possible to charge the battery without dismantling it — there is a corresponding connector on the motorcycle. Full charge time is approximately 3 hours. Two rechargeable batteries are included.
The electric bike has a load capacity of up to 200 kilograms, meaning it can support two people of average weight plus cargo.
According to the manufacturer, the placement of the mid-drive engine was also a key point.
«Our electric motor is placed in the center of the structure, like in classic motorcycles with internal combustion engines. This provides several important advantages,» added the company representative.
The range of a Ukrainian electric motorcycle on one battery is approximately 100 km. The total curb weight of the vehicle is 100 kilograms, and the battery itself weighs approximately 22 kilograms.
