The Ukrainian company Avarid has introduced the MOBIDIK naval drone, which, among other things, can launch middle strike drones.
The new development was presented during the DIH Naval Forge 2026 conference, reports «Military».
The new maritime drone has six modifications that have already been released and in use.
As for its characteristics, the drone has an autonomy of up to 120 hours, a range of up to 1,400 km, a maximum speed of up to 65 km/h, and maintains seaworthiness in waves up to 1.2 m high.
The MD-1 version is designed to carry five aircraft-type interceptor drones to create a maritime air defense perimeter. The MD-2 version has a similar purpose, but is adapted for eight quadcopter-type interceptor drones.
Another modification of the MD-3 offers the integration of the company’s own MORRIGAN middle strike drones for attacking ships, coastal objects, and reconnaissance assets at medium distances.
The MD-4 version is a platform for launching a jet attack drone designed to engage high-priority targets at strategic ranges, while the MD-5 is equipped with machine gun and missile armament and is designed to engage air and surface targets. The latter modification can transport two R-73, AIM-9 or their equivalent missiles, as well as a combat module with a Browning M2 heavy machine gun.
The MD-6 version is an assault platform that simultaneously acts as a carrier of FPV strike drones and is equipped with a 300-kilogram warhead for destroying large surface targets and port infrastructure.
The company is now moving on to codifying its products and launching them into mass production.
