Visa announced the appointment of a new vice president and regional manager in Ukraine.

Tetyana Chorna has been appointed Vice President and Regional Manager in Ukraine. She replaces Svitlana Chirva, who has held this position since March 2019.

In her new role, Tetyana Chorna will lead Visa’s operations and strategy in Ukraine. She will focus on expanding Visa’s innovative solutions and digital payments, as well as improving the services the company provides to partners, banks, merchants and cardholders.

Tetyana Chorna will work under the leadership of Christina Dorosh, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager in 17 countries, including Ukraine, the company’s press service reports.

«Tetyana Chorna’s significant experience in the financial industry, combined with her six years of experience at Visa, makes her the best candidate to lead the advancement of digital payments in Ukraine. Working with a highly professional Ukrainian team, Tetyana plays a key role in developing the market and developing effective partnerships with key stakeholders during this dynamic period of transformation,» commented Christina Dorosh, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Visa in the Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus region.

Tetyana Chorna joined Visa in 2019 with extensive experience in the financial industry. As Head of Business Development in Ukraine, she was responsible for strategic planning, coordinating key initiatives aimed at strengthening Visa’s position in the Ukrainian market. Prior to that, Tetyana Chorna worked for seven years at a competitor. She also held senior positions at PrivatBank, one of the largest state-owned financial institutions in Ukraine, and other commercial banks.
