We are looking for a journalist who knows how to write news stories — not just copy press releases, but who knows how to find information sources, check facts, and explain to readers why this story is truly important.

What to do

• promptly write news about Ukrainian and global IT;
• monitor the technology market, AI, startups, business, defense tech, telecom, gadgets and the digital economy;
• monitor social networks, documents, court registers, international media and official sources;
• communicate with companies, take comments and seek exclusives;
• suggest your own topics and notice stories that no one has written yet.

It is important to us that you:

• have already worked as a news reporter or journalist;
• was well-versed in the Ukrainian technology market;
• understood who is who among Ukrainian IT companies, startups and global Big Tech;
• was able to quickly find information, verify it, and work with several sources simultaneously;
• wrote competently, quickly and without clericalisms.

It will be a plus if:

• you have English sufficient to work with primary sources;
• you use AI tools to search for information, analyze or prepare materials;
• You have your own contacts in Ukrainian IT.
