Applications for the annual online ideathon Hatathon 6.0 are now open

Hatathon 6.0 creates a space for international cooperation, cultural diplomacy, and the development of national identity through innovative solutions. Participants will work on the implementation of projects in the field of Culture Tech.

Culture Tech is a field that combines culture, art, innovative technologies and digital tools to create projects on the edge. Its professionals use technology to create, disseminate and preserve culture.

Who can apply?

Creatives, graphic and web designers, developers, engineers, data analysts, videographers and film industry specialists. Startup founders, artists, museum, archive, and library workers. Curators and cultural art managers, PR and marketing specialists, representatives of local governments.

Ideas in the fields of Culture Tech and Heritage Tech are welcome, including:

• digital platforms and services for culture and creative industries;
• innovations in digital culture, tourism and education;
• storytelling and content initiatives about Ukrainian culture and heritage;
• digitization and mapping of cultural heritage.

What will Hatathon participants receive?

• the opportunity to shape your own idea into a product under mentoring support;
• access to the expertise of Ukrainian and international specialists;
• joining a community that supports innovation in the field of culture;
• the opportunity to present your project at the final Pitch Day in Kyiv;
• the opportunity to receive a cash prize from the prize fund of 5,000 euros, the distribution of which among the winners will be determined by the jury;
• a series of lectures, workshops, and practical tasks within the ideathon.

• October 20 — online opening of Hatathon;
• October 31 — Hatathon final.
