Bloomberg reports this with reference to the company’s statement.
«It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family has requested privacy during this difficult time,» the company said in a statement.
Recall that Radvinsky acquired a controlling stake in the platform in 2018. He owned OnlyFans' parent company, Fenix International Ltd.
Previously, the business press reported that Radvinsky was in talks to sell 60% of OnlyFans shares, which would raise the platform’s value to about $5.5 billion. As of February, the negotiations were still in the early stages, according to participants in the process.
It is also known that since 2021, Radvinsky has paid himself about $1.8 billion in dividends from the platform.
