Certificate of no criminal record can again be obtained in "Diia" and beyond. Why was the service unavailable for a while?

Obtaining a certificate of no criminal record has again become available in the «Diya» service and in the «Single Window for Citizens» on the Ministry of Internal Affairs website.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this became possible after the ministry updated its software.

Since August 1, for several days, the service was temporarily unavailable due to routine work carried out by the Informatization Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the SE «Infotech» to update the software and improve the efficiency of the system.

These extracts are generated from the information and analytical system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs «Recording of information on bringing a person to criminal liability and the presence of a criminal record.» The ministry reminds that the service is available to all citizens of Ukraine aged 14 and over.

The document, first of all, may be needed for the military registration and enlistment office, for employment in some companies, in case of applying for a foreign passport, in case of applying for a visa, when obtaining citizenship in another country, and when applying for a residence permit abroad.

As previously noted by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, about 1 million criminal records are issued to citizens every year.
