President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that today at a government meeting, the rules for crossing the state border for men aged 18 to 22 will be updated.
«We have agreed on all the details with the military command, and the relevant capabilities should be operational in the near future,» he noted following a meeting with Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.
Zelenskyy previously proposed increasing the age for men who can freely travel abroad during martial law from 18 to 22.
At the same time, the text of bill No. 13685, which proposes to allow men of non-conscription age, i.e. up to and including 24 years of age, to travel abroad, appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
As for IT professionals, currently in Ukraine there are an equal number of IT specialists (48%) who are thinking about going abroad and who want to stay in the country.
The most likely to think about moving abroad are those from the IT sector who do not have a reservation or deferment from service in the Defense Forces, as well as those who live in the east and south of the country, the DOU study showed.
