Smartphone is the absolute leader
According to data as of July 2026, smartphones are the absolute leader among used gadgets - almost 9 out of 10 mobile devices on the site have already been used. This is about 75,000 active ads, which is 89.9% of the entire category.
A similar trend is observed in other segments of electronics:
laptops: 82.8% of used lots;
game consoles: 80.8%;
tablets: 71.9%;
headphones and audio equipment: 65.3%.
The principle of "second life" is most clearly manifested in the category of game consoles. Used consoles are purchased twice as quickly as new ones - on average in 15 days versus 30.
Most popular brands
If you look at which models are most often found in ads for used equipment, the leaders are quite obvious.
Smartphones: the undisputed leader is Apple with the iPhone, followed by Samsung and Redmi;
Headphones: Apple holds the lead with its AirPods line;
Laptops: leadership is shared between Apple (MacBook) and Lenovo;
Consoles: Most often, users resell PlayStation.
Push-button phones
OLX analysts have noted a separate interesting trend in the category of push-button phones, which account for about 10% of the mobile device market. The vast majority of them are used (7,226 out of 8,346 active lots in July).
Ukrainians buy such devices for practical reasons: as a backup phone in case of power outages or a discharged smartphone, as well as for older people.
