Top 10 Bitcoin Owners
The ten largest Bitcoin holders together own 422 BTC, which is equal to $35.644 million.
The rating is headed by the deputy of the Khmelnytskyi district council Oleksandr Kizlyar . Like last year, he indicated that he and his wife own 100 BTC (over $8 million at the time of writing). He is also the largest owner of Ethereum. Kizlyar also declared 6.5 billion PEPE and 1,500 SOL.
In second place is Odessa Regional Council deputy Mykyta Kuzkevych - 88 BTC (approximately $7.4 million). Last year, he topped the ranking of the largest bitcoin owners among declarants, but some of the assets are no longer listed in the 2024 reporting .
Third place is occupied by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, Oleg Bondarenko — 80 BTC (approximately $6.8 million).
Top 10 Ethereum holders
Ten Ethereum holders together own 1,812.5 ETH, which is equal to just over $3.28 million.
As already mentioned above, the leader in the number of declared Ethereum was the deputy of the Khmelnytskyi District Council Oleksandr Kizlyar — 1,000 ETH (over $1.8 million).
In second place is Serhiy Maizel, who is listed in the declaration as the CEO of LLC Investment Union Lybid. He owns 200 ETH (about $363,000 at the time of writing) and 4 BTC ($335,000).
In third place is Oleksandr Pustovoit, listed as the director of LLC "Single Settlement Center". He indicated 168 ETH ($305,000) in the declaration .
Top 10 Tether holders
The most common asset was Tether’s USDT, with its top ten owners collectively owning 2,792,084 USDT, which is worth $2.792 million.
The rating was topped by the head of the department of the Prosecutor General's Office, Vitaliy Brovko. Last year he was in second place, but now he has risen to the first place - in 2024, Brovko declared more than 847,000 USDT. His wife is still listed as the owner. In addition, according to the reports, she received income from the sale of crypto assets in the amount of 2.4 million hryvnias.
In second place is the leader of last year's rating, Director of the Department of the State Enforcement Service of the Ministry of Justice, Maksym Kiselyov. The number of assets in his possession has not changed - over 647,000 USDT.
Third place belongs to former Ukrainian Ambassador to China Pavel Ryabikin. According to his declaration , in August 2024 he became the owner of 380,000 USDT.
The most popular crypto platforms
In their declarations for 2024, civil servants indicated various platforms and wallets where their digital assets are located. The undisputed leader in terms of the number of mentions in the reports is the Binance exchange.
It is followed by exchanges such as ByBit and OKH. Less than 2% indicated cold wallets as a service provider for storing cryptocurrency.
