«I think we really need to step up in Europe… the American economy, the Chinese economy have been growing much faster than European economies over the last 20 years. If we don’t change that, Europe will actually become some kind of museum compared to other parts of the world,» the prime minister told attendees at the Techarena event in Stockholm, CNBC reports .
Kristersson stressed that for Europe to be able to compete in the new geopolitical context, less regulation is needed, which means «greater access to capital and talent.»

US Vice President J.D. Vance said officials on the continent have focused too much on regulating artificial intelligence instead of harnessing its growth potential, and suggested Europe should be more welcoming of the technology than it has been so far.
