According to several other sources, the director of reputation management of the Nova Poshta group of companies, Olena Plakhova, is also leaving the company. She herself does not comment on this information.

The company is not officially commenting on the situation at the moment, promising to provide a comment later. However, according to dev.ua sources, in five years the communications team has achieved all the goals set by the management. «And at the moment there are no tasks for them in such a number and with such ambitions. They have achieved everything,» said a dev.ua source in the company.

At the same time, another source noted, 25 professionals are leaving the company, and only three remain. «The PR function remains. There just aren’t that many people,» the company source noted.

The interlocutors of dev.ua also explained that staff optimization is taking place as part of the innovations proposed by the co-owner of Nova Poshta, Volodymyr Popereshnyuk.

UPD. As Forbes writes, Popereshnyuk selected 75 employees to implement the changes. One of the main criteria was proactivity in the internal chat, where 12,000 employees communicate anonymously.

According to the co-founder of Nova Poshta, the optimization will affect all departments. He assures that it is not about cuts, but about improving processes. The reform may affect 7,000 office workers. By the end of the year, half of them will be laid off or transferred to new positions. «2,000 have already been transferred or laid off,» says the company’s co-owner.

Popereshnyuk said that the marketing and communications department has undergone radical changes. «It turned out that there is a department near me in the central office where for some reason there are a lot of people,» says Popereshnyuk. «They were also offered to move to work in the branch.» After this offer, about a quarter of the department’s more than 40 people remain, who will be transferred to other departments.

By the way, today, June 27, is Olena Plakhova’s last working day. She has been in charge of communications and reputation for the company since 2020. «Today is my last working day,» she said. «The brand is at the peak of its success. Therefore, with a calm soul and a feeling of achieving all its goals, I decided to embark on new adventures,» Plakhova said in a comment to Forbes.

As we will recall, he previously said that as part of the optimization, top managers of the Post Office had to identify unnecessary processes themselves and stop performing them. 2,000 employees were offered to move from «office positions» to positions where they had to touch parcels. 1,200 of them remained to work at Novaya Poshta, and 800 people decided to leave the company.
