According to Ukravtoprom, 61,700 passenger electric vehicles were imported in the first eight months of 2025:
- new — 14,100 cars (+26%);
- used — 47,600 (+62%).
This is 52% more than in the same period last year.
The total customs value of new electric vehicles was $363.5 million, and of used ones, $906.3 million.
The largest share of new electric vehicles (92%) was imported from China, followed by Japan with 3% and Germany with 2%.
The leaders in the supply of used electric vehicles were the USA (40%), Korea — 16%, Germany — 15%.
Recall that in September, electric cars became the sales leaders in Ukraine for the first time .
